How To Change The Paper On Japanese Sliding Doors
Fusuma is known to be a form of Japanese traditional art of using lightweight paper for interior doors. Fusuma creates a beautiful serene atmosphere inside the house due to the partial light that enters through the designed paper. At the same time, it also helps maintain privacy and is a very easy way to give a personalized look to the interiors. It is known to play a very important role in creating washitsu, a Japanese designed room.
The lightweight paper required can be available in any Japanese furniture store. Though the sizes of doors are variable, paper having a standard dimension 69 cm of width and 180 cm height is generally required.
